Cost Rica Flag 1842 - 1848
Cost Rica Flag 1842 - 1848. Costa Rica used a white-blue-white flag (horizontal stripes) with in the middle of the blue track the seal of the country (not in the civil flag). This flag remained in use until 1842. In that year Cost Rica adopted a new flag, which persisted six years. This flag had the combination of colors blue, white and blue to the (new) stamp in the center of the white track.
